The Georgetown Glow is a public art exhibit where you can see marvelous unique and illuminated artworks created by local, national and international artists. Experience the sparkle of the season with excellent and innovative light displays exhibited here. Be a witness to Social Sparkles, which is a kinetic artwork creating a lively interaction between participants, light and movement, and Entre Les Rangs, which is an urban field of glowing and waving crystalline stems, and many other such gorgeous light displays that will leave you awestruck. The Georgetown Glow is a month-long celebration starting from Dec 1 to Jan. 6.

Winter Walk of Lights

Yet again the most famous of light shows in Washington DC that you should not miss is the Winter Walk of Lights at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Over 500,000 lights are used for the nature-themed displays that light up the half-mile display. The animated Lakeside Lights, the Fountain of Lights, and the Holiday Nature Walk altogether make out to be a spectacular light show that you will never regret visiting.  This light show starts on Nov. 9 through Jan. 6.
